Turbulence questions humanity's ability to preserve a symbiotic relationship with the natural world. It examines the discord and destruction that overpopulation and technology create due to increasingly efficient measures that systematically exploit natural resources and transform the global landscape. This particular tension is contextualized by scrutinizing the onslaught and encroachment of housing subdivisions onto the rural landscape and the consequent loss of clearly defined boundaries between natural and man-made environments.
